About Me

From as early as I can remember, art has been my constant companion. I find wonder in the beauty that surrounds me and revel in the journey of imagination, discovering hidden details both in the world around me and within me. For me, art is not just a pursuit but a path to healing, joy, and a vibrant way of embracing life.

From painting with my grandparents as a child to being accepted into the visual arts high school program in Ontario, Canada, my journey in the arts has been both rich and rewarding. I continued into college for graphic design and began my career as a desktop publisher.  This experience lead me to computer illustration for medical textbooks, blending both my passions for art with a focus on the sciences.

A vagabond at heart, travel became essential in my life and I explored extensively across Canada and throughout Mexico, where I met my husband in a tiny beach town close to Belize. Two children later, and after many travel adventures around the world, we found ourselves in Jupiter Florida. Here, we followed our dreams to grow a food forest and to live in a sustainable way.

 I have been blessed to paint and learn alongside of many incredible artists over the years. I ventured into doing commissioned portraits where I have been able to practice and hone my skills as an artist.

Raising our own children to learn from life experiences, and understanding the importance of play, teaching became a way to offer the community a space where play and curiosity can thrive. I strive to provide guidance and to empower each student to find their own unique voice.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to build community through the arts, and I hope to be an inspiration to young artists as I profoundly believe that art is a worthy pursuit.
